December 27th Update!!
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday so far!
I had a great time on the VIA Rail as the On Board Entertainment from Montreal to Halifax...and back!
I met so many great people who enjoyed the music I brought to them during their ride.
I thought I could handle bringing all the gear I did, however, there was a whole lot of sweat and bruises involved. The hallways on the train don't allow for much room so I had to improvise the way I carried my keyboard AND my guitar. Some performances were on the other side of the train, so imagine this...
Carrying a keyboard at your back. Guitar in front of you.
Walking down narrow aisles and bumping into the walls because, first of all, the gear weighs quite a bit, and the train is moving - causing you to lose your step every now and then.
And you have to walk 8 cars to your performance spot. Eight!
All that struggle went away as I got to perform in front of my first train crowd who I spent a while chatting with them after my set.
After that, I managed to carry my hear no problem. Got the pipes to show for it! *flexes*
In addition to my 61-key keyboard and guitar, I also had my luggage and my purse. This was taken at the Halifax VIA Rail Station.
Thank you Crystal LeBlanc for taking the photo!

I performed a handful of sets where I sang covers, originals, and Christmas songs.
I even had people singing along with me!
A lovely couple, Gordon and Ellen who even danced to "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree"! Thanks Gordon for taking this pic for me!

I was also blessed with staying at Meghan Morrison's house that she grew up in and we recorded this cute little video to wish you a Happy Headbanging Holiday!
I also got to busk at the Halifax VIA Rail!
The lovely Meghan Morrison joined me in a couple songs as well as the talented Leander Mendoza who now resides in Halifax! Check out their websites! http://www.meghanmorrison.com/ http://www.leandermendoza.com

If you're interested in performing on the VIA Rail, I highly recommend it. You meet a lot of people, you perform for a lot of people, and you can make new fans! I sold 14 CDs in one day and gladly gave away a whole bunch of "I'm Worth It" buttons to many new fans.
It was shaky due to the fact that I was on a train - there were times when the train would stop unexpectedly and I would be in mid song and almost lose my balance! Thankfully I have enough training that my voice didn't skip a beat - literally speaking.
Above all it was TONS OF FUN! I plan to do it again! Stay tuned, and maybe I can see you on the train!
Thank you to all the passengers and employees I met on the train and all the people who showed their support by purchasing "I'm Worth It"!

Along with sending out messages about confidence and positive self-esteem through different forms of art, we raised $160 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation!
